About Us

The Western New York Healthcare Association (WNYHA) was founded in 1931 and is the regional advocate for hospitals and other health care organizations in the eight counties of Western New York. The WNYHA membership is comprised of hospitals, health systems, nursing facilities, home care agencies, hospices, insurers, and other health care-related organizations. WNYHA serves as the center for health information in Western New York, and seeks to establish Western New York as the healthiest community in the United States, while maintaining an efficient, cost-effective, and high quality health care system. WNYHA is affiliated with the Healthcare Association of New York State and the American Hospital Association.
